All of the steel is then sealed with a powder-coating sealant: Steel-It to protect the metal against the elements.

The name-sake of my sister, The Kelly Sue is a mini garden box defined by strength + beauty.
The Kelly Sue is made from Cedar + Steel specifically designed to hold Succulents + Herbs. The corners are secured with heavy gauge steel brackets cut from rolled-steel angle-irons; secured by antique-styled, square-head bolts from Blacksmith Bolts in Portland, Oregon.
An inset bottom layer of perforated steel has wide distance-on-center for an elegant look.
All of the steel is then sealed with a powder-coating spray called: Steel-It to protect the metal against the elements.
The wood is finished with durable Odie’s Oil, tinted with naturally-coloured pigment powder to compliment the surrounding landscape.
The results are stunning and long-lasting.
